NVAR honors top REALTORS® at annual awards event

LAS VEGAS – The Nevada Association of REALTORS® (NVAR) honored four of its leading members Friday night with awards recognizing their continued service to their association, their profession and their communities.

At its annual awards event in Las Vegas, NVAR honored the following longtime members:

  • Myrna Kingham, of Vegas Group Realty in Las Vegas – Nevada Distinguished REALTOR® Award for ongoing and consistent service to NVAR and her profession. She is a past president of NVAR and the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS® (GLVAR) who has served on numerous NVAR committees and represented Nevada as a director with the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
  • Jack Woodcock, of Prudential American Group in Las Vegas – REALTOR® Active in Politics Award for government affairs advocacy and activities. He is a past president of the NVAR and GLVAR who remains very active in their government affairs activities.
  • Linda Rheinberger, of One Source Realty and Management in Las Vegas – Joe Nolan Award recognizing spirit, passion and professionalism in serving fellow REALTORS® in Nevada. Rheinberger is also a past president of NVAR and GLVAR.
  • Ken Amundson, of First Choice Realty 500 in Reno – REALTOR® Achievement Award for outstanding service to local and state associations, as chosen by NVAR’s president. He is a past president of the Reno-Sparks Association of REALTORS® (RSAR).

At a separate event in October, NVAR also honored current NVAR President Mike Young, of Chase International in Incline Village, Nev., as its 2011 Nevada REALTOR® of the year.
